We had an incredible day yesterday performing at Museum of Liverpool and Strawberry Field Liverpool. A huge thank you to everyone who came along, bought tickets, followed our social media, shared our posts and, most importantly, supported This Girl. It was so lovely meeting so many of you and we honestly had the best day! We’ve got so many photos and videos from yesterday that we can’t wait to share with you, so make sure you stay tuned! 📸🎥

BEHIND THE SCENES… 🎭

Here’s a little glimpse of our incredible cast at rehearsals last night. We thought we’d show you what really goes on behind the scenes of a show, and the process that goes into bringing it all together. Because, despite what you see on stage, nothing starts out perfect. Lines are forgotten, mistakes are made, cues are missed, and sometimes things go completely wrong 😂, but that’s all part of the process.

We love showing you the finished product, when everything comes together and the show sounds and looks incredible. But we also wanted to share the real side of putting a production together. The hard work, the laughs, the mistakes etc. But this is where the magic starts.

⭐️DOT RHONE⭐️

Introducing Annabel Partington-Smith as Dot Rhone. Annabel trained in Musical Theatre at The Hammond, graduating in 2024 with a First Class BA (Hons) degree. Training credits include Carrie White (Carrie), Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), and Chloe/Vocal Captain (Wonderland). In 2022 she was a featured vocalist at the BBC Platinum Proms concert which celebrated Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee. She has recently returned to the UK after spending the past year as a performer at Universal Studios Beijing.

⭐️RINGO STARR⭐️

Paul Connor is a 20-year-old Singer-Songwriter and Actor from Walton, Liverpool. A student at LIPA, he has been around the general Liverpool arts scene from the age of 15. He has performed at the Royal Albert Hall as a finalist in the 2024 ‘Futuremakers’  Youth Songwriters’ Competition, and has appeared on The Voice UK. He is now taking the first steps in his acting career as Ringo Starr in ‘This Girl’!’
