Didcot Choral Society

Didcot Choral Society A friendly, mixed voice community choir of over 60 singers; we welcome people of all ages and abilities to join us in performing a wide range of music.

Didcot Choral Society is a non-auditioning mixed voice choir drawn from Didcot and surrounding towns and villages. We encourage participation in choral singing for all ages and abilities, including those who have never sung in choirs before and many very experienced singers. The choir works closely with a number of local groups and orchestras, performing a wide range of music throughout the year a

nd is committed to contributing to the musical and cultural life of the area. Our musical director is Rupert Gill.

Thanks to everyone who came along to last night's concert of Durufle and Faure Requim in the lovely surroundings of St Michael's Church Blewbury. Thanks to our wonderful soloists Helen Cliff, Rowena Foxon and Max Rozenfelt and organist George Charman for their sublime performances. We are hugely appreciative of the warm welcome from Father Jason and the PCC of St Michael's.
Rehearsals being on Tuesday 14th April for our very special concert of Carmina Burana in celebration of St Birinus' 90th birthday.
