Another sneak preview of the marvellous sword fight between the 'Two Noble Kinsmen' in Shakespeare's play. This scene is probably the most serious the two main characters get!
The adaptation of the play is definitely the slightly inappropriate comedian child of a 'Carry On' Film and Shakespeare's masterpieces. Expect unfettered ribaldry and comic antics, smattered evenly amongst the tragedy. Running from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th July 2026 at The Wharf Theatre in Devizes. Tickets available from this link https://www.wharftheatre.co.uk/show/the-two-noble-kinsman/

True love's path is never easy, but two cousins squabbling over who "saw her first" is the bones of the play 'The Two Noble Kinsmen' by Shakespeare.

The cast have been rehearsing fiercely to bring you this tale of Honour, Duty, The Pursuit of Love and also Tragic Loss. Marvellously adapted by the Director, Nic Proud, it is the rollercoaster of emotions that one expects from Shakespeare.

Both comedic and tragic, we should have used the strapline "It's Short and Relatable" - your backside won't go numb while watching, as with other lengthy Shakespeare works. 😉 oh ,and it has a brilliant swordfight!

Something for everyone, even if you're not a Shakespeare buff.

Running from 14th to 18th July - get your tickets now, as they're selling fast.
