Our condolences to the family and friends of Sam Burnside .

Sam’s late wife, Stella was a founding member of our choir and Sam was a great friend of the choir , writing the words of a special anthem “ The Sparrow” for us some years ago.
May he rest in peace .

We’re delighted to announce the first event of this year’s festival, featuring internationally renowned conductor Greg Beardsell - and you’re invited!

📍 The Guildhall, Derry
🗓 Saturday 13 June
🕛 Workshops: 12–5pm
🎵 Concert: 7:30pm
👥 Open to all voices (ages 14+)

Join Greg for an inspiring afternoon of choral music-making, followed by a live concert performance in the evening.

The choir sang today at the Remembrance service of Altnagelvin Renal Support Group in St Augustine’s Church.

It is always a privilege to take part in such a touching event and our thoughts are with all who attended .

Rehearsals have now commenced for the Altnagelvin Hospital Choir Spring concert. We are singing some beautiful music this term from contemporary composers .

We meet every Thursday evening at 7.30pm in MDEC , Altnagelvin Hospital and members of staff and community are both welcome ! There is no audition , however some experience of choral singing is helpful .
