"Have you finished that list of events and stuff?"

"Yeah, you wanna see it?"

"Aye, give us a look ...... You've blacked it all out! What's the idea of all the big black marker lines? I cant read a thing except for Oaktoberfets wish list!"

"It's redacted!"

Wha?

"Redacted. It's when you write up a document and then you expunge the sensitive material contained therein!"

"This isn't done wi' a sponge, it's all crossed out wi' a big black marker."

"That's what you do when you redact a document. Have you never see any of those american films where journalists are trying to find out what's happening in Iraq and they apply for Freedom of Information and then the documents arrive and they're all redacted."

"Which films?"

"Well, ahm, Redacted. It's a film by Brian de Palma."

"From Carrigans?"

"Naw they're a different crowd. It doesn't matter. The list is redacted."

"Why bother writing it all down and and then redactin' it?"

"Cos that way I know what's in it and nobody can knock off our plans!"

"So how will I know what we're doing?"

"I'll whisper it in yer ear."

"Why?"

"The place might be bugged. Ebrington used to be an army base, remember?"

"Mmmm ..... fair enough, Mum's the word then?"

"Ssssh!"

"Wha? It's March already! Jeez, I musta fell asleep. Gimme that piece of paper ...... and the pen. Now, we'd better scribble a few ideas for OAKtoberfest this year. See if you can remember the combination for the safe."

"Why?"

"Cos we don't want that shower in Ebrington stealing our ideas. Remember that time you were pi**ed and started goin' on about having a 'City of Culture, ' look where that got you!"

"Aye, we could fool them you know."

"How"

"We could hold OAKtoberfest in October!"

"It is in October!"

"Don't write that down then, it's too dangerous."
