Don’t miss the world premiere live streaming of The Molly Films, directed by Sophie Muzychenko. They’ll be available from 3am on Monday the 17th of June 2024 on the YesDerry website.

The Molly Films are newly commissioned short films (7-25mins) by YES, with actors each performing a reading of one of the sections (long sentences) from the final Episode XVIII (Penelope) of James Joyce’s Ulysses.

Film 1 – Fiona Shaw – Sentence 1 (Duration: 25 mins)
Film 2 – Eve Hewson – Sentence 3 (Duration: 7 mins)
Film 3 – Adjoa Andoh – Sentence 4 (Duration: 20 mins)

Ireland’s former president, Mary Robinson joins us via live link to a packed audience at YES, Derry’s first all female multi-arts festival, to talk about Women & Climate Justice, in the third of five conversations in the No Ordinary Women Programme.

This discussion is chaired by Louise Cullen, and the talks are curated by Martina Devlin.
