This quilt, The Sower, was finished just in time for our exhibition at First Derry Presbyterian Church. We loved spending time with those who visited and the wonderful volunteers. We miss you already. Our message to First Derry is keep sowing the seed. There is good soil out there. God Bless.

It was a busy day in First Derry Presbyterian Church yesterday. It was lovely to chat with so many visitors, from all around the world, and share God's word.
The exhibition is open until next Friday. The company is good and the food delicious if you want to come have a look.

Meet the creator of the stunning quilts on display at the quilt festival

Tomorrow evening (Thursday) at 6.30pm, we are delighted to welcome Sandra Weir from Hollow Oak Quilts, the talented quilter responsible for the stunning quilts displayed throughout our church

Sandra will share the story behind her beautiful creations, explaining what inspires her work and why quilting has become such an important part of her life and faith journey.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Sandra's inspirational story and gain a deeper appreciation of the artistry, dedication and meaning woven into each quilt.

Everyone is warmly welcome to what promises to be an inspiring and enjoyable evening.

This is what it looks like when we gather our quilts for an exhibition. They are now hanging in First Derry Presbyterian Church. There are some new quilts being exhibited for the first time. If you visit you will also see a couple of other very special items I have sewn recently. 👰‍♂️
