Nice little job today at a wedding celebration playing tuba for Pavilion Brass Quintet.
Lovely surroundings and the rain kept away until we were playing the last piece of music.

I’ve been customising some flugelhorn slides today. They all started off brass with damaged lacquer . A polish to remove the lacquer followed by a quick flashing of silver to act as a base and finally finished with rose gold to match the copper bell. The red is nail varnish to mask the silver and is easily removed.
