On Sunday the NODA East Midlands Amateur Theatre Awards took place at the Majestic Theatre, Retford and we were incredibly proud to have received two nominations for Robin Hood and Babes in the Wood, our January 2025 Pantomime. 👏

⭐️ Best Performance in a Pantomime for our brilliant Amy Garrod.
⭐️ Best Pantomime 2025 for Robin Hood - produced and directed by our wonderful Jacquie Saunders.

While it wasn’t our turn to take home an award this time, we are truly honoured to have been recognised and nominated alongside so many talented and inspiring amateur theatre companies from across the region.

A huge congratulations to all of the winners and nominees. Being acknowledged by NODA is a fantastic achievement in itself, and we are so proud of everyone involved in bringing our production to life.

Thank you to our cast, crew, volunteers, supporters, and audiences who make everything we do possible!

🏴‍☠️🦜 We’re thrilled to announce that, in our 70th year, The Enfield Players’ production of ‘Treasure Island’ has been nominated for TWO Eagle Awards! 🦅✨

⭐️ The Malcolm Sircom Award for BEST PRODUCTION OF A PANTOMIME.

⭐️ The Brian Glazebrook Award for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT for Martin Smith, Helen Morton and Andy Saunders.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this swashbuckling adventure to life on stage. From the cast and crew to everyone behind the scenes, this recognition is a testament to the talent, hard work, and passion of our amazing company.

And we have to admit, we’re especially pleased that an Eagle Award has recognised a show featuring a parrot. We were a little worried the eagle and the parrot might not see eye to eye… but it turns out birds of a feather really do flock together! 🦅🦜😄

Thank you to everyone who supported Treasure Island and helped make it such a memorable production. Wish us luck! 🍀
