Bringing people together for over 30yrs through performance, creativity & storytelling. Passionate people, real stories, true love for the stage.🎭 The official page of the Locko Amateur Dramatic Society (The LADS). We rehearse and perform 2 plays a year at Spondon Village Hall, ranging from farce to black comedy to costume dramas. We meet and rehearse every Monday at 7.30pm, at Spondon Vi

llage Hall (except for the 2nd Monday of the month), and anyone is welcome to join us, whether as an actor, backstage or running the tech desk. The stage lights are starting to glow again ✨

There’s just something about a theatre coming back to life. The buzz of rehearsals, the laughter drifting through the wings, that feeling that something’s building behind the curtain.

And look who’s back where he belongs. Dave is treading the boards with us again, already getting familiar with one of his character’s props 👀

It’s all starting to take shape now.
