THE VENUE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BABINGTON GROUP AND 440Hz MUSIC LAUNCH EXCITING NEW TRAINEESHIP IN LIVE MUSIC PRODUCTION

Are you 16-19 and not currently engaged in work, education or other training?
Do you want to work in live music production, but don’t yet have the skills or experience?

The Venue in Partnership with The Babington Group and 440Hz Music are excited to announce a new programme starting in April which will help you gain the skills and experience to help you start a career in live music production.
The Programme is full time (up to 30 hours per week) for up to 16 weeks and is completely FREE.
Starting in April the courses will be based at The Venue, one of Derby’s major gig venues and will contain the following key elements:
• Rock school Accredited Certificate in Music Technology and Business Level 1.
• Award in Employability and Personal Development.
• Work experience at The Venue’s weekly Radar Love live music night, and other larger live music events booked at The Venue.
• Functional skills in English and/or Maths.
• Support to progress into further education and/or employment opportunities.
Places on the programme will be limited, so all we ask is that you are serious about a career in live music and committed to completing all elements of the programme.
