is one of my favourite places and I’m so pleased to be taking part in their summer open studios this year. I will be in the studio of friend and fellow potter along with the super textile artist .makes.

We are open on Friday 12th & Saturday 13th June, 10am - 3pm. It is free entry, there is parking and an on-site cafe!

There will be a few other studios open on site so do pop over to have a look around 😊 and maybe a cheeky coffee!

What’s better than bashing your teabag around in your mug? Letting the flavours brew in their own sweet time in these little one-cup porcelain teapots. I love a little bit of faff and ceremony, so am loving making these ❤️

Decoration photos to follow in the next few days. Probably when I can work in the studio without melting in this glorious heat!

Sunday 10th May was the amazing event and what an event it was!

Thank you to and his team for yet again organising and putting on such a wonderful day.

Despite the cold and the chilly gusts, ceramic enthusiasts and general Loughborough shoppers stopped by to chat about and buy pieces, thank you to you too.

The other thing I love about taking part in these things is the friendliness and support of the other potters - you’re a lovely bunch! Such a giggle 🤭 ❤️❤️❤️

All set up . The sun is occasionally peeping out and we’re looking forward to the day. With about 90 potters taking part there is just so much to see!!

I’m excited to be packing boxes today ready for tomorrow at the Stamford Arts Centre.

Pop this date in your diaries!

The Stamford Pottery Market has become an annual feature at The Stamford Arts Centre where 30 local potters display their work and share their wonderful creations and their enthusiasm for all things made of clay, and happily explain the processes they use.

Do come and join us - there will be something to suit everyone – from beautiful domestic and garden ware to all manner of ornaments, jewellery and sculptures – large and small.

Our friendly potters love to talk about their work. Visitors can chat with the makers about their different techniques. And if you are a potter yourself, or hoping to become one, you can make useful contacts and share your views on all things ceramic.

With free admission and a welcoming atmosphere, the organisers are expecting the Pottery Market will again be well received and supported.

We look forward to seeing you there.

What a weekend! I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in in Derby.

A huge thank you to the wonderful and his trusty team of volunteers who made the event run so smoothly — your hard work truly made it something special.

To my fellow potters and everyone who came along, your kindness and enthusiasm mean the world.

Thank you to the toasted photographer for capturing me behind my stand. I think I must have been grinning like that all weekend! 😆 Tbh, I’m still grinning a bit two days later!
