Studio84 is a Performing Arts school based in our purpose built facility in Spondon Derbyshire. Ran by Faye Michelle Quinney who has worked in many aspects of the entertainment industry (Not only as a west-end performer but also a teacher, lecturer, consultant, studio manager and as an assistant casting associate for Casting Director Mark Summers (Madonna, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent, Kanye West)
Studio84 really is Derby's centre for theatrical and freestyle arts training. Offering lessons in all aspects of the performing arts: Acting, Acrobatics, Ballet, Freestyle, Lyrical, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tap, Tumble & Singing and operating under the I.D.T.A, I.S.T.D, N.A.T.D & L.A.M.D.A associations. The School holds a show every two years at the prestigious Derby Theatre, as well as annual demos, fundraisers & our Christmas Cabaret at Derbys famous Rolls Royce Pavilion. In addition to this, pupils can take graded examinations, participate in dance festivals & competitions and also audition for professional productions in theatre, TV & Film. Our pupils have appeared in shows at Derby Theatre, Nottingham Theatre Royal, Nottingham Playhouse, The Duchess theatre to name but a few. Many of our students have successfully gained places at: Royal Ballet associates, Elmhurts associates, BTUK, MTBC, Talent First and The Central Television Workshop associate programmes- as well as full time training at Studio 79, EPA, The Hammond, Performers, Italia Conti and Urdang
