DERBY LECTURE REVIEW:

May Lecture was presented by Ian Davis.

I don't want to expand too much and spoil it for other societies, but Ian allowed us into his world. His advice on Mic handle was clever

Pocket management for his strolling magic and alterations to his suit to hold balloons was awesome

Sharing his opener they packed small but hit HARD on the entertainment side having the audience in stitches.

Clever use of gags, props made time fly so quickly and help expend or build on your own kid's shows. Lovely technic to help with parents background noise.

After the interval, Ian shared his experiences with PA system for Indoor and Outdoor use, DIsco lighting for shows.

This knowledge and ideas Ian shared were truly fascinating. Would love to have Ian Back to share his thought, Ideas and move with his close up.

In all, a great lecture and Highly recommend to having at your club

Happy Easter Everyone. Sorry for the bombardment of Events in your news feed but The Derby Magic Circle have been working hard to invite amazing lecturers and professional magicians to help build, expand your magical knowledge and skills.

If you are not a member please don't let it put you off. We are a friendly group and welcome you to come to an say "Hi" we sadly have to charge (Which helps pay for the venue and lecture) but it's only £10.

We hope you see more new faces.
