Motherhood, from the acclaimed Oddsocks Productions, explores the highs, lows, joys, frustrations and unexpected realities of raising children while running a family business. Written and performed by Elli Mackenzie, this moving autobiographical show combines laughter, emotion and unforgettable storytelling.

Featuring an orangutan, a giant woodlouse and plenty of relatable moments, Motherhood is a celebration of family life in all its chaotic glory. A must-see for mothers – and anyone who has a mother!

Meet our Friar Lawrence!

Finally we are so excited to bring Jim Burrows aboard as Friar and Mercutio! Jim is fantastically funny and we can't wait to see where he takes the Friar this summer.

"Jim Burrows has extensive credits in children's theatre, having appeared in productions of Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Awful Auntie, Robin Hood, The Little Mermaid, Wind in the Willows and The Snow Queen among others. He loves new musical theatre, performing in workshops and concerts for up-and-coming new British musicals like The Odd Jobs, I'm Autistic: A New Musical and Otto Weidt's Brush and Broom Workshop For the Blind. He has also been friends with the elves at LaplandUK, helping thousands of children meet Father Christmas in Ascot. His previous Shakespeare work includes Duke Theseus in A Midsummer Night's Dream and playing every single messenger/servant in Antony and Cleopatra."

Meet our Romeo!

"Tom McMillan trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He was a finalist at the 2025 Spotlight Prize and 2025 BBC Carleton Hobbs Awards, where he was highly commended.Stage credits whilst in training include Macbeth; As You Like It; Piaf; The Welkin. Other stage credits include Time Bends (Edinburgh Fringe); As We Know It (Hazy Elephant Theatre).
Screen credits include 4 episodes of Riz Ahmed’s Bait on Amazon Prime and feature film Play Dead. Short film credits include Nutshell; Heads or Tails; Mum and Dad; The Cleaner; The Disposal; Echoes.
He has recently filmed for major Netflix television series to be released in 2027. He’s delighted to be playing Romeo in Romeo & Juliet. "

We are thrilled to be joined by Tom this summer, and we can't wait to see how he takes on Romeo!

Meet our Juliet!

"Madeleine-Grace Brown is a British Actress and Director from Bath. She has always had a passion for Shakespeare from a young age and during her time at Bath Spa University played Helena in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ as well as Lady Macbeth in Stan’s Cafe’s ‘Big Brother Macbeth’.

This year she made her directorial debut with Wax Wings Theatre company, directing their production of ‘Julius Caesar’ and is immensely excited to be on tour with Oddsocks this year. "

We cant wait to start working with Madeleine-Grace and see the comedy and passion she brings to Juliet this summer!

We are delighted to announce the cast for our upcoming tour of Romeo & Juliet!

Three new actors will be joining Andy & Elli on the road this year.

Madeleine Grace will be playing Juliet

Tom McMillan will be playing Romeo

and Jim Burrows will be playing Friar Lawrence and Mercutio
