“Life is short. Make it meaningful, not merely busy.”

Sometimes I feel like I am pieced
together from old moonlight
and stories that never made it into the
history books.

There is a sadness in me that does not
belong to this life.
A longing that tastes like smoke and
earth.

I think it is the memory of everyone
who ever had to swallow their own magic
just to stay alive.
I think it is their whisper
that pulls awake.

An Hour in the Evening

Take out at least one hour in the evening just for yourself.

Sit on the rooftop, look at people’s homes, and watch the birds flying in the sky.

Hold your cup of coffee/tea with both hands and feel its warmth.

Take some time for yourself and give yourself a break.

Let the bitterness of life fade away with every sip of tea.

And if you still don’t feel at peace, look at that empty cup. Just as there is room in the cup to fill it with tea again, there is still room within you to be filled with life and happiness.

Learn to fill the empty spaces within yourself. ❤️
