I am off out to our monthly card and a cuppa morning but its been so long since I packed a crafting bag to take with me, I am not sure I have included everything.

What essentials do you put in your craft bag when you go out crafting?

Here is the card that I created for Alexandros. Obviously his name was too long to go on the front of the card but mum says he is often called Alex so it was acceptable, phew.

The dragon is from my stash and it was stamped directly on to a 8" x 8" card, (colette will be proud of me) and then stamped again onto some lovely card to enable me to colour it it using alcohol markers. Who doesnt love a bit of colouring in? Once it was coloured I sat with my Stampin' Up! snips and fussy cut it out, edging the image with a black marker.

The name ALEX and the number as well as the word today were all die cut / punched out 5 times, then stuck together so that they would stand out on the card. A little blending on the card prior to me putting it together was all that was needed.

I am pleased to say that everyone loved the card however, Alexandros got a little enthusiastic with the number 2 and dismantled it all. Oh well..... at least I found a photograph of it to share with you.

Last week we were lucky enough to be invited to celebrate the wedding of a lovely young couple. We had known about the wedding for quite some time, so thankfully there was no last-minute panic.
The journey took us up a winding mountain road which, for the most part, was a proper road before eventually turning into gravel. As is often the case in Cyprus, the final stretch involved a slow and rather steep climb but the destination was more than worth the effort.
The church was set in a beautiful location with breathtaking views across the countryside, providing a stunning backdrop for such a special occasion. Here is a glimpse of the view from the church, along with a photo of the happy couple.
The wedding also gave me the perfect excuse to create a personalised card. I reached for one of my favourite "go to" stamp sets for the main image and combined it with a selection of Stampin' Up! card, colours and embellishments from my craft stash. It is always satisfying to mix and match products you already own and give them a fresh new look.
The sentiment was created on the computer, allowing me to personalise the card especially for the bride and groom. A handmade card for a very special day.

Here's a card I recently made for my Aunt – the final birthday card of May.

Now, here's a question... does anyone remember the name of this stamp set? Because I certainly don't! I've completely drawn a blank. I'm sure the answer will arrive in my brain at 3am when it's absolutely no use to me whatsoever.

Name aside, I absolutely love this set. It's one of those wonderfully versatile stamp sets that can be used for so many occasions, making it a real favourite in my craft room. Another little gem from Stampin' Up!

Time for a little update and refresh. I do hope you like the new cover photo. Just look at the In Color ribbons, dont they go well together?
