Hold Back the River is one of our ultimate favourite contemporary songs where the tenors have the time to shine! Always gets the crowd singing along and clapping which is a bonus

We LOVE this old spiritual- ‘Steal Away Home,’ as song that expresses a deep desire for God and finding heavenly home, but also held hidden messages to help many enslaved find freedom through the Underground Railroad.

This version was arranged by Mark Delisser, and we are honoured to sing it with the SIB family.

Blinded by Your Grace

Grace is something we experience every day — whether we realise it or not.

This is another of our favourite songs, and we especially loved singing it at the beautiful St Mary’s Church in Nottingham during Light Night. We’re also honoured to usually have two of our students, Abi and Faye, lead this song.

This particular performance is beautifully led by Faye, who will soon be leaving us to return home following her studies, making this moment all the more special.

This is an audience capture of our 2024 concert.
We think they evidently got more and more into the song as the quality of the recording certainly changes throughout 🤣🙈. We weren’t going to post this for that very reason, BUT ‘It’s Gonna Rain’ is a classic Gospel choir song, our lead- Winnie took us to church, and the choir told the story!

‘Can’t you see the clouds gathering? Don’t let it be said too late. There’s a brand new feeling in the air. Better run, in the ark, before the rain starts.’

This song definitely has a special place in our heart for the celebration and power in the lyrics, and this was one of our songs sang at the Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year.

Usually our training sessions are for SIB members only, but this time, we’re opening the day up to:
•artists
•aspiring singers
•choirs
•church worship teams
And anyone who wants to enhance their skill, tone, style and ability.
