We’re looking for our Buddy for our production of We Will Rock you this July! 🤘🏻

BUDDY – Male

Buddy is a librarian with a hippy spirit who has studied the sacred musical texts so deeply that not even the Seven Seas of Rhye could wash them from his mind! 📼 🎶

A wonderfully comic character, Buddy becomes the perfect foil for Galileo and Scaramouche towards the end of the show.

✨ Casting notes:
Ideally suited to someone 40+, but if you think you’ve got what it takes, we’d absolutely love to hear from you!

⚡️ OH YES — YOU ABSOLUTELY ROCKED US! ⚡️

A MASSIVE thank you to every single one of you who came along to our We Will Rock You auditions yesterday and today.

We are still buzzing from the sheer level of talent we witnessed!!
The vocals? INSANE.
The energy? ELECTRIC.
These auditions…NEXT LEVEL 🤯🔥

Safe to say, we really have got our work cut out for us. Choosing a cast from that lineup is no easy task when you’re ALL already champions! 🏆

We truly cannot wait to announce our cast and start rehearsals.
If this weekend was anything to go by, this show is going to be absolutely unforgettable! 🤘🏻 🎸

And just like that, DMTC’s 2025 Panto, The Wizard of Oz, has come to the end of the yellow brick road 🌈 💛

What an incredible show, and what an incredible team!
Huge thanks to everyone involved – cast, crew, creatives, front of house, and all the behind-the-scenes magic makers who gave their time, energy and talent to make this panto so special.

To our amazing performers: you brought laughter, heart, and pure panto magic to every performance.
To the production team: thank you for your patience and endless hard work.
And to our wonderful audiences, thank you for coming, cheering, booing, clapping along and supporting DMTC…we couldn’t do it without you! 💚

There’s truly no place like home, and there’s no family quite like DMTC 💚

Massive thanks to Ken’s Fish and Chips and Denbigh Drop Off for making and delivering our tea during our break between today’s two panto shows; we’re well and truly refuelled and ready to follow the yellow brick road back to the stage for our final show!

Shhhh… 😴✨
Our cast and crew have been working their socks off these past few months, and after three incredible shows this week, they’ve finally crashed! 💤

They’ve earned a well-deserved rest, but don’t worry…we’ll be back on Friday, ready to bring the mayhem once more as we skip down the yellow brick road and sing, dance, and laugh our way to the Emerald City! 💚🌈
