What to expect
Join us for this friendly and informative Cyanotype Workshop at Walmer Castle and Gardens Education Centre. During this workshop I will be showing students how to create Cyanotype prints using natural form, acetate print outs and special chemicals to create the wonderfully distinctive indigo blue prints using light.

INSTRUCTIONS
Attendees do not need to bring any materials: everything is included in the ticket price, along with tea, coffee and biscuits. There will be an hour set aside during the workshop when students can choose to bring a packed lunch or let the organiser know if they would like to book lunch in the onsite cafe.

This workshop is suitable for learners of all abilities, the emphasis is on exploration and experimentation whilst having fun!

Some of the beautiful results from the Wednesday class at The Drawing Rooms of Deal. We’ve been looking at Still Life and will be focusing on Still Life and Colour next term. It’s always so rewarding as a teacher to watch students grow in confidence and ability, art class is about so much more than the Art! Looking forward to seeing what next term brings. The last week of the Still Life term for the Beginners class saw students make amazing progress with tone and painting in acrylic. For many learners, this is the first time they’ve picked up a pencil or paint brush since school.
