Chris Balfour started dancing age 5. He was an International Ballroom finalist and Kent Latin American Champion. Professional dancer and choreographer and former manager of Arthur Murray International Dance Studio in Kensington High Street, London. He has performed in many shows and competed in numerous competitions, both in the UK and the USA.
Jean Balfour attended the Grandison College for Dance and Drama in London for four years. She is a fully qualified Associate Member in Ballet, Tap, Modern Stage, National Dance, Ballroom and Latin American. She went on to perform professionally at the London Palladium as a resident dancer with the famous Tiller Girls. Jean and Chris later became professional Latin American show dancers performing and judging in London and America. They started Footsteps Dance Studio in 1988.
