Reporting to the Site Manager
The role is to ensure that the shop floor is manned, pushers and cranes are filled and maintained, customers assisted, and queries dealt with.
- To man the cash desk as required.
- To staff the Adult Gaming area as required.
- To serve behind the prize shop as required
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with opening, closing and
moving machines as needed.
• Responsible for ensuring pushers
are filled with prizes and attractive
for play.
• Responsible for ensuring cranes are
reset after play and refilled as
necessary.
• Ensure that regular cleaning is
carried out.
• Assist with customers on site.
• Serve customers with change at the
cash desk and keep an accurate
float.
• Assist with the running of the Adult
Gaming area, ensuring only over
18's are permitted entry.
• Serve refreshments in the Adult
Gaming area
• Serve customers in the prize shop.
• Fill stock and account for stock in
the shop
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Good timekeeping and reliability essential
• Exceptional personal presentation.
• Working flexibility preferred.
• Must be numerate, and fluent in English.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Fixed term contract to Oct 2021
(lesser periods considered)
• Full Time: 5 days / 35 hours
minimum – more required during
holidays
• Part Time: 2 days 1 weekend and 1
week day
• During school holidays and staff
holidays will be 6 day working
• Early shifts can start at 8.00 am, and
late shifts finishes can be as late as
11pm.
• Uniform provided
• No holidays permitted during
school holidays under any
circumstances.
• Saturday and Sunday working
mandatory throughout the year.
• Days off will be weekdays, except in
exceptional circumstances
• Bank holiday working mandatory
• Rate of Pay - NMW 25 and over
• 28 days holiday pro-rata, normally
paid at end of contract
