12 years of CR Dance Company ❤️🖤

So proud to celebrate our 12th Birthday today. What a year of success!! From starting our exam journey with 100% pass rate and some fantastic marks, to our very successful Hip Hop competition team, we are certainly flying this year.

It’s lovely to see the growth of all of our students not just in confidence but personal achievements. It’s not everyday you get to watch one of your children with a lead role as a member of the Platt family in Corrie. We are so proud of you Grace 🤍

I feel extremely honoured to work with all your children. Looking back through very old photos from when I first opened the school to now it’s made me realise what an amazing school I’ve built. Every single child is AMAZING and I can’t thank you all enough for your continued support ❤️🖤

I’m so excited to see everyone on stage in a couple of weeks when we perform ‘Welcome to Wonderland’ at Darwen Library Theatre on Saturday 11th July ❤️🖤

I am super excited to announce we will be hosting our first half term workshop day.

The day will include classes in Hip Hop & Acro, lots of arts and craft activities and an exciting ‘Matilda’ workshop hosted by which includes singing, acting and dance with a special performance for parents at the end of the day.

Our workshop day will be on Wednesday 29th October at Darwen St James Academy. Early drop off from 8.30am and performance for parents to start at 3.30pm.

£25.00 for the day 🙌🏻

Team CRDC strikes again!! 🙌🏻
What a day we had yesterday at On the Beat Dance. This was our first hip hop comp of the 25-26 season and the kids absolutely smashed it!! I can’t express how proud I am of all of them.

17 children went and we gained 38 places!!
Some children only competing for the 1st time. I’m blown away. The confidence I’m seeing on the floor is something else.

What I loved seeing was the team work and encouragement they showed to each other. This is what comps are all about.

This was our first competition entering duets and I am so glad we did because they all absolutely smashed it. Plenty more to come 🙌🏻

I am also so proud of the girls because they had an opportunity to enter into a mixed duo with a child from another dance school. They went away and together with the other child made up a short routine. They then went on to the floor and performed with so much confidence!! Absolutely amazing.

Parent and child duo!! Mark and Pen you are amazing. Also Mark and Tash, your parent freestyle solo 🙌🏻
