We’ve just announced that Paul Foot will headline Brixham Comedy Club on Friday 13th March, and it’s only a few weeks away.

Paul is one of the most inventive and brilliantly surreal comedians on the UK circuit, seen on Live at the Apollo and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and his live shows are completely unforgettable.

We’re often asked how people actually get started in stand-up comedy.

If you’ve ever thought “I’d love to try it, but I wouldn’t know where to start”, this might be for you.

We’re exploring bringing back our tried and tested Get Into Comedy Workshop, a relaxed introduction designed for complete beginners.

We’re currently registering interest and will only run it in areas where there’s enough demand to create the right atmosphere.

❗ Important update – Dartmouth Comedy Club ❗

It’s with sadness that we’re letting you know that Dartmouth Comedy Club will not be presenting a show on Saturday 7th February, and that we will no longer be continuing our shows at The Flavel.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone in Dartmouth who has supported the nights so far, your trust and enthusiasm are exactly why we care so deeply about the quality of the shows we put our name to.

While we understand The Flavel intend to run a comedy night to existing tickets holders on 7th February, this will not be a Dartmouth Comedy Club event, and it won’t be programmed or promoted by us. For that reason, it isn’t representative of the line-ups or standards our audiences expect from one of our shows.

All ticket holders for the original Dartmouth Comedy Club show should have been contacted directly by The Flavel regarding refunds or options.

We remain fully committed to bringing top-quality comedy to Devon, including at nearby venues such as:

• Brixham Theatre
• Torquay
• Totnes

Including a very special night with Marcus Brigstocke at Brixham Theatre on 15th May and at the Civid Hall in Totnes on 16th May. Marcus is one of the standout acts we had scheduled to bring to Dartmouth in the future.

Thank you again to everyone who has supported Dartmouth Comedy Club. We truly appreciate it, and we hope to see you at one of our other venues very soon.
