Dartmouth Food Festival is an annual event which has taken place every October for more than 10 years. It has grown year on year and now attracts an audience of about 20,000 visitors.The festival this year will include: 100+ food and drink producers, a demonstration stage with celebrity chefs both on stage and at local restaurants, hands-on workshops, Eat Your Words - a series of In-conversations with cookery and food writers, a children's festival and much more.

Some emails are offering pitches and then requiring payment for those pitches

The Food Festival Quiz is back…this hotly contested evening of foodie knowledge and fun has returned

We are delighted to announce Rockfish as our Headline Sponsor for 2026 once again

Our Bursary Scheme applications close this week…

There’s still time to apply for a Bursary Place at this year’s

We are offering 3 retail food & drink bursary places for smaller or newer artisan food & drink producers who are within a 30 mile radius of Dartmouth

The scheme includes a free-of-charge one or two day pitch in our Artisan Market Square area, website listing, festival newsletter spotlight and promotion across our social media channels

To apply, complete the application form on our website

Applications close Wednesday 24th August, with successful applicants notified on 8th September

2026 Bursary Scheme Applications are now open!

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience the Dartmouth Food Festival & are offering 3 Bursary Scheme pitches this year for smaller or newer artisan food & drink producers

Would you struggle to produce enough stock for a three day event, or is the cost of attending a barrier to your business?

If so, this is for you…

We are offering 3 one or two day pitches for artisan retail food & drink businesses within a 30 mile radius of Dartmouth

We were very happy to have been invited to the opening of the new Dartmouth Youth Group base in town and are delighted that the Dartmouth Food Festival have funded the brand new kitchen facilities in the new headquarters, as part of our commitment to supporting local community projects.

It has been a long journey for the dartmouthyouthgroup to find a permanent base in town & these new facilities will enable them to provide a dedicated space to support the young people of Dartmouth.

The Youth Group is run completely by amazing volunteers who meet twice weekly and organise hot meals, supported by some of our local independent hospitality businesses, and fun activities throughout the year, including paddle boarding, theatre trips, rounders, BBQs and a warm, safe space to hang out.

We look forward to working with DYG in the future with some hands on cooking workshops and check out their wish list for their new space and let them know if you can help.
