These two delicate landscapes are particularly atmospheric — soft skies fade into distant horizons, with subtle textures and earthy tones suggesting moorland, sea, mist and changing weather. Framed simply in natural wood, they have a quiet, contemporary quality that lets the glass take centre stage.

Jacqueline is a South West artist whose work celebrates the places around her, making these small landscapes feel like little windows into Devon — beautifully tactile pieces of place, held forever in glass.

Two framed soft-pastel landscapes by Carol Deathridge depicting the South Devon countryside around Strete and Slapton. Lush summer wildflowers and grasses dominate the foreground of both works, with softly rendered hills, fields, footpaths and water beyond.

Characteristically atmospheric and tranquil, the paintings use delicate blue, green, white and ochre tones to evoke the spaciousness and changing light of the Devon coast. Presented in simple white frames behind museum quality non reflective glass.
