🔨 RAGE ROOM / Paint Splatter / ARCADE ATTENDANT

Part-Time | Evenings & Weekends | Arcadia Darlington
We're looking for a reliable, confident and hardworking person to join the Arcadia team as a Rage Room / Paint Splatter / Arcade Attendant.
Your main responsibility will be working within our Rage Room & Paint Splatter, preparing sessions, supervising customers and resetting the rooms ready for the next group. You'll also help elsewhere within the arcade when required.
This is a physically demanding role
We want to be very clear about this before you apply.
You need to be physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
Rage Room sessions involve items being smashed, which then need to be safely cleared away and the room completely reset for the next group.
You'll regularly be:
Carrying heavy and awkward items
Moving equipment up and down stairs
Clearing smashed items and debris after sessions
Preparing and resetting Rage Rooms
Cleaning and sweeping between groups
Spending significant periods on your feet
We're not exaggerating when we say it can be physically demanding. Please consider this before applying.
You'll also need excellent attention to detail
Safety is extremely important in our Rage Rooms.
You'll be responsible for monitoring sessions and making sure customers are following the rules and using the facilities safely.
You need to be confident enough to intervene when necessary and able to identify and report any problems, damage, safety concerns or customer issues directly to your manager.
Helping around Arcadia
Although you'll mainly work within the Rage Room, this is a combined Rage Room / Arcade Attendant position.
During quieter periods or when required, you'll help the wider Arcadia team with things such as customer assistance, monitoring activities, cleaning, resetting areas and general venue duties.
This isn't a job where you'll be paid to play games. There will be busy periods, quieter periods and plenty of cleaning and practical work in between.
Working hours
This is a part-time position, with shifts primarily:
Evenings • Weekends • School holidays
