And we are goooooooo!! Last Train Home Music and Comedy Festival 2026 has begun! Thank you to everyone who came along last night to our launch event Hopetown Darlington It was a beautiful evening of brilliant musicians and good vibes. The Mist Calls with their debut Darlington gig playing gentle, close harmony, songs inspired by nature. The wonderful Staithe with heartfelt, rich vocals from Bridie and an emotional tribute to Dolly RIP. The night was headlined by the excellent George Boomsma and band whose stage prescence, intricate guitars and catchy tunes rounded off our event perfectly. Thanks to all the artists and to the supportive staff Hopetown Darlington

Tonight we welcome Sonic Futures and BBC Music Introducing Shakk to host a listening panel The Forum Music Centre and then tomorrow it's the BIG one! Over 40 artists across three venues, music, comedy, a whole host of fun all programmed to finish in time to catch the LAST TRAIN HOME!!! :-)
