Sincere gratitude post…..
To all who helped yesterday and over the last few weeks, at our first ever Jumble Sale (in living memory, anyway!😂) to all who donated goodies to sell, to all who came and purchased, helped spread the word and provided storage …. We really couldn’t have done it without you all.
We’ve raised over £700 (and still counting, as some items are on eBay 👍)
Thank you everyone, and finally a huge thanks to Whitley Village Hall for being such an excellent venue and for being so accommodating. 😘

Please donate your clothes, bric a brac, toys, games, textiles, books, unwanted gifts etc, etc ..... basically most things (but not electrical appliances please) to our jumble sale fundraiser.

🗓️ We have our Jumble collection drop off points next Saturday 10th Jan. times and locations in photo. Thank you!

[it will also be possible to drop off jumble at Whitley Village Hall between 10am and 11.30am - just before our jumble sale - on Saturday 24th January.]

We are having a fundraiser on Saturday 24th January at Whitley Village Hall.

🐎 Details for the horse show side of our annual show tomorrow (Sat 13th Sept) 🐎 follow their dedicated page to learn more.

🏆 Important Show Day Information 🏆

1. Parking will not open till 8:30 am please don’t aim to arrive before this the team will be setting up still! Signs will be up on the day to the parking field please follow these and not your sat nav!

2. Be ready for all weathers we’re hoping for sunshine but bring your waterproofs just incase!

3. There is no water on the showground please bring enough with you for your pony!

4. Although parking is on the field please clear up any poo before you leave, No horses or ponies to be left unattended at any time!

6. Please bring your own back numbers if you have done a pre entry this helps the team on the day!

7. Tail ribbons should be worn if needed (please see photo below)

8. Passports spot checks will be in place all horses and ponies should have been vaccinated against flu in the last 12 months. There have been a number of cases of strangles in the area we ask any competitors whose horses are showing any signs of being unwell to not attend. We would also discourage the nose to nose touching of horses not on the same transport/box.

9. Marshall’s will all be in hi viz on the day, any issues please come and speak to one of us!

***It's THIS Saturday, 13th Sept***
If you were wondering: Hatton Show is an exhibition of home, garden and equestrian skills, with craftsmanship showcasing the very best of rural traditions. The equestrian side of the show begins at 09:00am, with the horticultural side and the craft stalls and refreshments etc open from 1:30pm.

The horticultural sections boasts farm, domestic, junior, horticulture, handicraft skills.

A wonderful afternoon out for all, with children’s activities (including Animal Teach 🦎), craft stalls, book stalls, Women’s Institute refreshments, Ice Cream, real cask ale, with live band with singers providing entertainment.

🐶 Dogs on leashes are welcome and there is a dog show with various classes that you can enter on the day in the afternoon.

🚂 there will also be woodland train rides with WDMES

While we will have a disabled toilet on site and disabled parking, please be aware that the show is held on grass fields.

Marquees open at 1.30pm with prices being Adult: £5.00, senior citizens : £4.00, Child: £2.50, Family ( 2 adults + up to 3 children: £12.00

🚂 Don’t forget – Woodland Train Rides with WDMES (pay as you ride, from 10am) will be running all day at the Hatton Show!

The show also includes the Horse and Pony Show from 9am, and the Marquees of the Hatton Show open from 1.30pm, and crafts and WI refreshments!

📣*** There’s still time to let us know you want to exhibit! *** 🌾🍅🥕🥧🧁🎨🪡🌻🌹
It is 50p per class to enter and you may enter multiple classes if you wish, though only 2 entries from each exhibitor per class. The maximum entry charge is £5.00, so even if you exhibit 11 entries or more, you will only be charged £5.00. (Deadline to let us know is *tomorrow* 6th Sept)
To enter you have to have purchased a membership (Adult is £4.00, Child is £2.00) and that membership number is to be quoted on the entry form. Bringing the membership card with you on show day will get you free entry into the show ground too.
