Exhibition Opening // Arddangosfa yn Agor

Join us on Saturday 12 September, 12-2pm for the opening of Portal 2026!
Portal is our annual group exhibition of graduate artists and makers.

With work that looks at how we relate to each others and our surroundings, this years exhibition explores folk traditions and storytelling, tools and materials, and frictions and disconnects on and off line.

Bananas – Ed Lewis

Bananas is an immersive installation by performance artist Ed Lewis that invites viewers directly into the Artist’s mind.

Through a humorous lens, this work offers a fantastical view of dealing with day to day thoughts and emotions. Driven by frantically constructed characters and chaotic ramblings, Bananas embraces nonsense as well as reflecting the desire to make sense of the silliness. It also reveals the dangerous line between coping using humour and using it to deflect deeper emotions.

As a small arts charity, we are always fundraising to support core costs and all our exhibitions, creative activities, and events. Any donations, along with spending in our Craft Shop and Café, help keep us going!

Donate what you can - You can support us with a one-off, monthly or yearly donation.

✨ £10 pays for materials for a half-day workshop
✨ £85 pays for a tutor for a half-day arts and health workshop
✨ £100 pays for a recent graduate artist’s fee in our annual Portal exhibition!

Llantarnam Grange is returning to Cardigan Castle for Craft Festival Wales from 11-13 September.

We will have a craft stall of selected makers from our Craft Shop, and will be running a free drop in creative activity inspired by quilts from textile artist Sophie Snow.
