I started an online course with an amazing artist called Julie Bender https://www.juliebender.com/ She has been helping me improve my technique. We started off with a Long horned calf called Goose Bumps. This is my progress to date. I feel like I am making great progress. Please check Julie out, I would thoroughly recommend her online courses.

Been having a play with tigers. First two on paper, not terribly happy. Moved to wood and acrylic, too much paint. Finally wood stain for colour. Nice to have to play.

Lastly, for now, had another go with the spoon nib on these butterflies and felt I was starting to get to grips with using leather. It is very smooth and feels more like painting than pyrography on wood. Looking forward to trying out other things!!
