Absolutely over the moon about being selected for at 🎉

This is a close up of my piece ‘Blooming’, which will be shown as part of the exhibition from 22nd June - 29th September.

The piece is painted on a copper panel and photos/video are absolutely terrible at capturing it - so if you’re in or around Milton Keynes this summer make sure you pop along to see it in person.

I’m super excited to announce that next week’s Self Love Portrait Club session will be BOTANICAL THEMED!

Think lots of plants and plant-related props, plus a specially curated plant-themed playlist (song suggestions welcome!).

Drawing from life is such a joy 👏

This 10min sketch is from Self Love Portrait Club a couple of weeks ago. I’m so grateful to everyone who comes along and takes turns to sit for the group.

As a someone whose parents are both Cornish, and whose father says ‘aaaa’s alright my loverrr’ on a regular basis, my Cornish identity has always been strong.

And over the years it’s only gotten stronger.

This is ‘Self-portrait as a Cornish Balmaiden’, painted this year in oils.
