Hi everyone, I have been sculpting/ Woodcarving for about 4 years and thought it was maybe about time I showed it off. This is my latest, I call it a family festoon, it is 30cm tall in lime wood. Each element is a reflection on us and the kids. So the theatrical masks are me - of course. The rose is Pam, the oars, scroll, paper aeroplane and Easter egg with the ring inside are the kids. And the Poppy and Oscar are for the grandchildren. Oh and the base is apple.

Finished article, ready to ship to Northern Ireland!

"Fruit maiden", just completed. Made out of apple wood with lime wood bow tie. Little features to note, bee on one of the fruits, and the additional fruit detail on her bow tie. I like the way the bow tie helps to frame her cheeky little face!
