I have recently heard that a lot of the ballet schools near us are mainly interested in competitions and festivals and investing time in group choreography and not having the time left therefore for examination syllabus work and time for their recreational students.
I wanted to make it very clear, as a dance school, Carla and I invest our time in quality teaching of the ISTD syllabus and free work, concentrating on technique, strength and stamina of our dancers.
We have spaces in most of our classes, but we also keep our classes to a maximum of 10 students to guarantee good teaching and safe practice. We have classes specific for strength training and we run at least two classes a week for each grade.
Even if you attend another dance school but would like an extra technique class a week we are willing to fill in that gap and help your child progress and complete their next examination. All Our classes are in Crowborough and Hadlow Down. We are here. And even though we look like just a ballet school, Carla and I have studied tap modern lyrical jazz contemporary national dancing, historical and Greek! We have done it all and use our experience in our classes for free work.
We are planning our next examination session for autumn 2026 and would love to help some more students reach their targets that are not being met in other schools.
