Amy McIlhenny is an artist and designer from the Black Isle. She studied at Gray’s School of Art and l’École supérieure d’art et design Saint Étienne before spending time living and working in Edinburgh and Glasgow. A move back to the Highlands sparked a renewed interest in developing a more intuitive artistic practice, and since returning North she has focused on exploring her passion for printmaking; linocut and relief printing in particular. She enjoys exploring the intersection between the natural landscapes of the Highlands and the human interventions which shape and alter them.
