💚✨ A HUGE WELL DONE TO SCARLETT & GEMMA’S EMERALD ARMY! ✨💚

On Saturday, Scarlett and her family took on the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K as part of Gemma’s Emerald Army, raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of Scarlett’s mum, Gemma. 💚

Not only did they complete the muddy obstacle course with smiles on their faces, but together they have raised an incredible £1,390 (+ £242.50 Gift Aid) so far – an amazing achievement that has smashed their original fundraising target! 🎉👏

Everyone at Wakefield City Emeralds is incredibly proud of Scarlett and her family. The love, determination and support shown throughout this fundraising journey has been truly inspiring, and we know Gemma would be so proud of what has been achieved in her memory.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared the fundraiser, offered words of encouragement, and supported Gemma’s Emerald Army along the way. Every penny raised will help Cancer Research UK continue its vital work.

Your time, patience and encouragement meant so much to every single member, and it’s safe to say each and every one of our twirlers learnt something new and came away feeling inspired and motivated 🤩✨

We couldn’t thank you both enough for the amazing work you have done with our dancers. The smiles, progress and confidence shown throughout the sessions say it all! 💚

We can’t wait to continue working hard and putting everything we’ve learnt into the season ahead 🖤💚

We have been to the Asda in Middleton today raising funds for the season! It was a lovely morning and thank you to everyone that donated! We was only there 3 hours and your generosity showed!!!

We raised a total of £229.07 😱
