Hi Everyone,
This is a bittersweet post, but after 7 years I am stopping taking commissions here at CT Illustration and having a career change. I have extremely exciting and challenging times ahead but its is definitely time for me to move into a new role.
That leaves me to say that it has been an absolute privilege to be able to work as a portrait artist for so long and to be able to use my training. I want to thank everyone of you who followed me, encouraged me, shared my posts, complimented my work, commissioned a drawing or commissioned lots of drawings! I truly thank you.
It was wonderful to get to know people through creating drawings for them. I would encourage people to commission artwork from other artists, there is something very special about another human being spending time, talent and energy creating something for you; especially portraits. A portrait created by an artist often moves people to tears and my feeling is that it has something to do with really being seen by someone else.
I do wish each and everyone all the very best for the future and thank you again.
