Join us this Thursday when we welcome Paul Hill (not our Paul!) for his talk “Up Close and Personal.”

Paul will take us into the fascinating world of invertebrates and plants through the macro lens, revealing incredible detail and beauty that is often missed by the naked eye. Expect stunning imagery and plenty of inspiration for anyone interested in macro photography.

We are delighted to welcome Peter R. Gennard MFIAP EFIAP/d3 from Smethwick Photographic Society, who has kindly come out of retirement especially to present his latest talk, “PG TIPS – FRESH BREW.”

Peter will demonstrate how he creates his striking environmental portrait composites, sharing his creative process and techniques for building imaginative photographic scenes. It promises to be an inspiring evening full of ideas and insight.

Jim Harrison Trophy – Annual PDI Competition Results 🏆
Last week we welcomed Jane Lines MPAGB LRPS BPE5* to judge our Annual PDI Competition, where the overall winner is awarded the Jim Harrison Trophy.

Congratulations to Stephen Coyne, whose image Desert Scene won the Colour General section and the Jim Harrison Trophy. Jane loved the shapes and textures created by the shadows in the landscape, with the camel perfectly placed to complete the image.
