Great Day yesterday for The Dishers Summer Spectacular! We had a full field of 56 players and paid out £1325 including sponsorship thanks to our sponsors The Beer Trading Company!
Firstly a huge congratulations to Rob Adams for winning the Event beating Zack Atherton 5-3 in the Final! Zack Finished top of group F whilst Rob finished second but came out on top in the final!
Rob beat Danny Rathbone 5-3 (L16) Mark Ash 5-2 (QF) Charlie Sneddon 5-4 (SF) on his route to the Final!
Zack beat Mike Gannon 5-3 (L16) Chris Johnson 5-2 (QF) Sean Nolan (SF) before narrowly losing to Rob in the Final! Great run all the same 👏
In the plate Event a big congratulations to young Josh Moscati for winning the event beating Jonny Bell 2-0 in the Final 👏 great achievement for Josh, in fact Josh had some great results yesterday including beating eventual winner of the main event 3-1 in the group stages, brilliant to see your hard work starting to pay off mate!
Special mention for young Charlie Sneddon, got to the flyer final last wk, went one better and won the flyer this wk then narrowly lost out in the semi final of a 56 man comp 5-4 to the eventual winner! Charlie is currently training in the Army so doesn’t get to play as much as he was so these are big achievements in themselves! I really love to see the young ones achieving great results 👏 well done mate!
Overall an excellent day with some brilliant pool, a lot of great players and some good banter, what it’s all about! 🥰
As always these events wouldn’t happen without the help and hard work from my staff, we really do have a great team and for that I’m extremely grateful ☺️ special mention and thank you to Stu who ran the event for me yesterday, it’s by no means easy especially when u don’t do it on a regular basis!
Also thanks to Kev for doing the flyer on Friday night! Again very grateful 💙
