Ever fancied trying something completely different? 🎭 Why not join us for the Haven Theatre Company read-through of this year’s panto… PETER PAN! 🏴‍☠️✨

Absolutely NO experience is needed! 🙌 Whether you’re 8 or 80, a complete beginner or a seasoned performer, we’d love to meet you. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun!

I’m Harriet, and I’m so excited to be taking on the role of Music & Choreography Director for this year’s Haven Theatre Company panto, Peter Pan! 🏴‍☠️🎶💃

I’ve been part of Haven for the past 7 years, starting in the chorus and working my way through to leading roles. Theatre has given me so much — confidence, friendships, memories and the chance to try things I never thought I could — and now I want to help others experience that too. ✨

No experience? No problem! We can teach you that. What matters is enthusiasm, teamwork and being ready to have fun! 🎭❤️

Getting Ready for Peter Pan

🧚‍♂️ The behind-the-scenes journey to Peter Pan has begun! 🏴‍☠️

We recently had a very productive day sorting through our costumes, working our way through 30+ boxes! There was quite a bit that had reached the end of its theatrical life, so we had a good clear-out and took several bags to the textile recycling bins.

A huge thank you to Casey, Harriet, Becky and Noah for all their hard work. 🙌 We’ve also done some good labelling, so hopefully we’ll now be able to actually find things when we need them!

And that’s another job ticked off as we get everything ready for Haven Theatre Company's Peter Pan! ✨

There’s lots to do before we’re ready to fly off to Neverland, and it’s not all about what happens on stage. Costumes, scenery, props, set dressing and all the other behind-the-scenes jobs are a huge part of putting on a panto.

So, if you’ve ever thought “I’d love to get involved, but I don’t want to be on stage” — we’d love to hear from you! There are plenty of ways to be part of the team. 🎭

I’m always amazed by the whole process — from the first words on the page, through rehearsals, costumes, sets and everything in between, to finally seeing it all brought to life on stage. 🎭

If you’ve never been involved before, why not come along to auditions and give it a go? We’d love to welcome new faces and see what you can bring to the adventure! 💫

What a fantastic day at Gig on the Green! 🎭💚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to watch Haven Theatre Company perform. Your support, applause and encouragement mean the world to us, and we loved sharing the stage with such a wonderful audience.

A special thank you also to our fellow performers, Copthorne Players It was a pleasure to perform alongside such a talented group and be part of such a brilliant community event.
