TRUE FOXES – THE VESTRY HALL, CRANBROOK – FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER

True Foxes, the cousins from Cornwall, Amie Parsons on vocals and guitar and Chloe Payne on vocals and bass, were on top form. Since forming in 2019, they have been busy developing a reputation, having performed at more than 800 gigs. Their debut album, Howl (2024), was awarded UK Country Radio’s Americana Album of the Month and the duo’s sophomore album, Just a Woman, has recently been released; Amie and Chloe have been out in their van, touring the UK in support of its release. Inspiration comes from artists of the ilk of Brandi Carlile, Laura Marling, and First Aid Kit (there are parallels here, as First Aid Kit is a Swedish female duo, one playing guitar, the other playing bass and lots of harmonies). Amie and Chloe have voices that meld together beautifully in the live environment; they also have an engaging on-stage chemistry, which makes for some interesting between-song moments. They always provide a very enjoyable evening; their harmonies come across live even better than they do on record, and they put on a really great show.

With their sublime harmonies and perfectly crafted songs, 2026 and beyond is shaping up to be a very exciting new chapter for True Foxes, who are definitely one to watch.

Tickets for this exciting show cost only £16.00 each and are available online at www.wmwcranbrook.co.uk

LIMEHOUSE LIZZY – THE QUEEN’S HALL THEATRE, CRANBROOK – SATURDAY 22 NOVEMBER

After three decades as a premier touring act, Limehouse Lizzy continue to dominate stages worldwide, keeping the legacy of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his legendary band, Thin Lizzy, alive and still relevant. Known for their electrifying performances and unwavering attention to detail, Limehouse Lizzy has become an equally dominant force on the live Classic Rock circuit.

Lead singer and bassist Wayne Ellis has further left his mark as a former member of the recording and touring band The Clan, alongside none other than original Thin Lizzy and Motörhead member, Brian Robertson.
