The LIVE thing at Sound Of Jura will take place on 27th June 7pm [not 28th June as previously advertised]. More very wonderful people playing. We're feeding you, we're playing you some music, we'll show you some films. Cash donations rather than doing a tickets thing but you need to email to say you're coming, just so we know numbers.

I'm offering my Steck Pianola to a good home. It's done sterling service here in my studio for a couple of decades and is to be found on many of the records I've made myself and with carious artists here on Jura. It needs a tune now, because it's been moved, so rather than post a video of it that reflects that, I'll put a link to it being played in the comments. It comes with a random assortment of piano rolls too, once used for a silent movie score, and with which you may be able to coax your very own musical exercise bike into action. The piano can be moved professionally on Jura or Islay for a limited time, after that it'll need a team to shift it. Anyone who is interested should give me a call or email giles at sound of jura dot com. I'm asking whomsoever adopts the instrument to make donation to the Jura Primary School Parent Council's music fund.
