Richhill Apple Harvest Fayre

Our very popular local fayre, held annually on the last Saturday in October, was unable to be held last year due to Covid, however, it’s back this year, although ‘rejuiced’. This fayre is totally planned and delivered by a few volunteers from the village and is proving popular not only for the people of Richhill but from far afield. tertainment cannot take place. Local food and drink producers, arts and crafts people, musicians, all come together to celebrate our connection with our land. There will be the usual wide range of market stalls including some exciting new producers, crafters and hot food stalls. On stage throughout the day will be several popular local music groups including, Catch 22, Qua Family and Bawn Folk Group.

“We are really delighted and excited to also have The Swingtime Starlets coming along”, said Ruth Briggs from the organising committee. “This amazing all professional vintage close harmony trio will transport their audience through the eras with their singing. They will be a sure-fire way of brightening up an autumn afternoon and get your feet tapping. Feel free to come along and dance to their beat and have some fun. This is a group not to be missed.”

The Richhill Apple Harvest Fayre, which began in 2014 as celebration of the protected Armagh Bramley Apple, attracts people from across Northern Ireland, and further afield, who come to the village to celebrate the Orchard County. The 2019 Fayre attracted over 4500 people, so don’t miss out on this years…….we’re back, although Rejuiced!
