So, you're in class - and your teacher, who educates you, makes a joke about sexual violence. You stand up and contest it, only to be told you're being 'too sensitive'.

We will not succumb to the idea that being 'sensitive' is a personality defect. It isn't. The fact it's portrayed that way misogynist propaganda and is used to gaslight us.

'Sensitivity' shouldn't be a bad thing - it's empathy, social awareness, caring about the detail - because details matter.

We all have a responsibility to consider the power of our actions, and that includes holding ourselves accountable for what our laughter normalizes, and contributes to.

Feminism shouldn't be paid for.

One Malaysian teenager has braved a backlash for her principled stand.
