🎯 Weekend Staff Wanted at Taskforce Paintball Games!

We're on the lookout for casual part-time weekend staff for the upcoming season to help marshal our paintball games.

🗓️ The work is mainly weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s ideal for anyone looking to earn extra money around school, college or other commitments.

If you're:
✅ Friendly and outgoing
✅ Great with customers
✅ Aged 16 or over
✅ Physically fit
✅ Able to get yourself to site

No previous experience is needed — just a good attitude and willingness to get stuck in.

1. It Hurts Less Than You Think (But It Can Still Sting)
A paintball hit feels like a quick snap with a rubber band — surprising but usually not painful.

Wear layers of loose clothing to cushion impacts (but not too bulky or you’ll overheat or restrict movement).

2. Safety Gear Is Mandatory and Essential
Your mask is non-negotiable — never take it off during gameplay.

3. Paintball Is More Strategic Than You Think
It's not just about running and shooting — communication, teamwork, and positioning matter.

Don’t be afraid to play defensively or use cover wisely.

Listen to the marshal and follow the game objectives (e.g., capture the flag, team elimination).

4. You’ll Get Dirty (and Maybe Sweaty)
Paint splatters, dirt, grass stains — expect it all.

Wear old shoes or boots with good grip — fields can be muddy or uneven.

5. Know the Rules and Respect the Game
Each field has its own game rules, boundaries and objectives Listen to the safety briefing.

Don’t wipe paint, overshoot, or be overly aggressive. Good sportsmanship goes a long way.

Always raise your marker and call yourself out when you're hit.

👟🥽 What to wear to play paintball? 🥽👟
At the start of the day you'll be issued with all the equipment you'll need... Cammo suit, head cover fully padded with neck and ear protection, a comfortable and safe full face mask and goggles, and, of course, your weapon.
So, what should you bring on the day?
You should wear an old pair of jeans/track suit bottoms and an old sweatshirt or jumper in dark colours, and bring an old pair of gloves, too. Ideally, old clothes just in case they get muddy on the day.
You want to be mobile and agile when you attack the enemy, and that means at least wearing flat-soled shoes, or trainers with good grip. The best option, though, would be sturdy boots with ankle support – or in wet / muddy conditions, football and rugby boots provide good grip!
Extra tip: bring a change of clothes, especially when rain is expected. If it has been wet or you have got particularly muddy you may wish to change in to dry/clean clothes before the journey home.

🔫 Is paintball suitable for kids? 🔫
Yes, absolutely!
8 to 16 year olds can play our Junior low-impact paintball where older family members are welcome to join in!
With our adult paintball games, under 16s can join in if they are accompanied by an adult.
Paintball is adrenaline-filled & super fun! It encourages all the family to spend time outdoors, being active, working as a team and using brain power! And it'll keep you all away from your screens for a few hours 😉
