You’re looking at the secret residents of Coventry Skydome, our thriving rooftop honeybee colony! Our local beekeepers just did a hive check and sent us some amazing updates.

Here’s the buzz on what’s happening right now:
🐝 The colony has a new Queen Bee! The beekeepers marked her with a blue dot so they can easily track her health and monitor the hives growth.
🐝 Thos colony is growing so well they literally chewed right through their old polystyrene box and have been given new boxes to build their home in.
🐝 There’s over 50lbs of honey inside the hive. The beekeepers have left it all in place for now to let the bees settle into their upgraded boxes.
