Sharing this message received from Kiril Georgiev. Two fabulous links included. Rest in Peace Adam Jurewicz.
It is with regret that I write to inform you that on Saturday September 26th the prominent Leamington musician, Adam Jurewicz passed away. Adam was born in Poland, but had lived in Leamington for more than fifteen years. He was an exceptional guitarist, composer, teacher and producer whose playing enriched the lives of so many. He was a very highly regarded musician, and in addition to his solo career, he worked with Leamingon based bands, "Jabba Cartel", "Lot Lorien with Jake Wilson", and later with "Lot Lorien Duo".
BBC Coventry and Warwickshire will play some Jabba Cartel on Thursday October 1st, as a memorial to Adam. Also, Genevieve Tudor, famous folk presenter will play a Lot Lorien Duo tribute to him on her show.
Many will remember Adam not only as a brilliant musician, but also as a wonderful friend; kind, funny, sharp minded and charming at all times.
Attached is a link to the last track ("1444") he played and recorded as a part of Lot Lorien Duo, May 2026, and also a video featuring original music composed and performed by Adam.
