Tuesday 8th September at 8pm the Corner Pocket welcomes The QOW Trio featuring Riley Stone-Lonergan on tenor sax, Spike Wells on drums and Eddie Myer on bass. These superb musicians celebrate the power of three in the modern saxophone trio tradition.
Entrance fee is £10 cash or card with half price for students and U25's. All are welcome. The Corner Pocket is entirely not for profit with all door takings paid to the musicians. Please come along and enjoy a night of great music and help to keep jazz live in our area.

The Corner Pocket returns on Tuesday 11th August 26 with the very cool Detroitwich Funk Machine, an exceptionally talented nine piece outfit led by bassist/vocalist Tom Clarke-Hill. They'll be playing an exciting mix of jazz, funk, soul and blues and all are welcome to join us at the Westwood Club on Westwood Heath Road Coventry CV4 8GP. On Tuesday 14th July at 8pm, the Corner Pocket presents Lucas D And the Groove Ghetto. They are a 6 piece instrumental group of top experienced guys playing eclectic TV/film themes and acid jazz/soul funk from the late 60s up to today....

Performance highlights include:

The Corner Pocket is back Tuesday 9th June at 8pm and the good news is... you're all invited!
We are delighted to welcome back Liam Brennan, an excellent musician/composer who has been classically trained at the Birmingham conservatoire.
Liam is joined by ABACUS, a chord-less sextet, featuring musicians from London and Birmingham.
The idea for the group was formed back in 2018 after listening to Omer Avital’s Asking No Permission which featured a 4-horn frontline. The music aims to combine music from the small group and Big Band tradition. They have recently recorded in August last year.
As ever, you are all welcome to come along and enjoy a night of great live music with tickets available at the door priced £10 with half price for students and U25s. And this is the Corner Pocket line up for the rest of 2026

The Corner Pocket returns on Tuesday 12th May at 8pm with live jazz from Alex Clarke as part of her own marvellous Quartet.
Alex recently released an exciting new collection entitled Out Of The Woods which showcases her take on the music of one her greatest influences, legendary jazz saxophonist Phil Woods.
Alex's quartet is comprised of superb multi-award winning musicians with David Newton on piano, Steve Brown at the drums and Dave Green on bass.
All are welcome to come along and enjoy an evening of top quality live jazz with tickets available at the door priced £10 with half price for students and U25s. Plenty of free parking and a licensed bar. No membership requirements.
