tep onto Stage Ltd was founded by Kirstie Smith in 2014 and started with 22 students in a church hall. We have now grown so much as a school and have many children/young adults who train with us throughout the week and at weekends in many disciplines at Walsgrave C of E Academy.

y during regular classes and workshops, which are ongoing throughout the academic year. As well as the team of teachers that are part of Step onto Stage Ltd, we also have a close group of people who have been with the company since the beginning and without them Step onto Stage could not run the way it has over the years.

Within Step onto Stage Ltd we offer the following classes:

* Stretch Classes
* Acting Class

The main ethos at Step onto Stage (SOTS) is to be a safe and family environment, where children and young people can learn and develop their skills. SOTS is well known for its professional standard, attitude and well behaved students within the community as well as the many places we have had the opportunity to perform at, such as: The Abbey Theatre, Leamington Spa Centre, The Hilton hotel, Alton Towers and Birmingham Hippodrome. We were successful in our audition to dance at Disneyland Paris in 2020 but, unfortunately this has now been cancelled and we hope to offer this amazing opportunity to our students as soon as it is safe to. What an absolutely unforgettable couple of days at Disneyland Paris! ✨🏰💃

Watching our incredible students perform yesterday and today has filled us with so much pride. Every single dancer stepped onto that stage with confidence, energy, passion and huge smiles, truly representing SOTS in the most amazing way possible! 💙

From early mornings to magical performances, they have worked so hard and made memories that will last forever. The professionalism, teamwork and support they showed each other all weekend has been so special to witness.

A huge thankyou goes to all of our students, families and amazing staff! Without such supportive parents this would not be possible! Your children are a credit to you all and we are truly proud to say we have an amazing dance family!

You absolutely flew the SOTS flag high and we could not be prouder of every one of you! 🌟

Now it’s time to soak up the magic, celebrate everything you’ve achieved and enjoy every last moment of this incredible experience.

Jen has been with us for two years and her time at STEP has been incredibly memorable. She has grown so much as a performer and person, becoming such a valued and vital part of the STEP family. Her positive attitude, hard work, and willingness to always give her all have made such an impact on everyone around her.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the success of our past student, Demi Brooks.

After graduating from Step in 2022, Demi went on to train at ArtsEd and Emil Dale, where she continued to develop her skills and gain valuable professional experience.

Demi has now secured an exciting contract as a Lead Vocalist aboard the Majestic Princess, where she will be setting sail across the British Isles, Norway, Iceland, New York, and Canada.

Throughout her training and since graduating, Demi has already built an impressive list of professional credits, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved.

We are especially proud to say that her journey began with us, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

The team are so proud of everyone who auditioned. The standard was high, and this cast reflects a lot of hard work and potential.

There will still be cameos and smaller roles given out, so this is only the beginning. Every role matters, and moving forward it’s about being supportive and working together as a team.
