Well the van is all packed.We are setting up this afternoon for Leamington Art in the Park Festival we will be on stall 5 on the Archery Lawn in Jephson Gardens all weekend from 10:00 till 6.
Art work will be offered for sale and prints. I will be demonstrating Oil painting.we hope to see you there.

Two days to go before we set up for the Leamington Art in the Park Festival . The painting below is roughed out so I can use it as a demo piece over the event.
The festival is the largest free entry art festival in the midlands and is held in Jephson Gardens on the 2nd and 3rd August from 10 to 7 both days. I will be on Stall 5 on the Archery Lawn sharing the stall with the very talented artist Cathy Renken we both will be demonstrating our art and offering works for sale

Starting to collect together all the components and items for Leamington Art in the Park Festival this weekend of the 2nd & 3rd August in Jephson Gardens. I will be on stall 5 on the Archery Lawn. The painting of the polished Alpha Romeo will be offered for sale along with other artwork and prints. I will be demonstrating Oil painting as well. For members of the 21st Coventry Scout Group past and present, and friends and supporters of the group. We are having a 60th anniversary Reunion to all meet back up and share tales and celebrate the group.

Details are on the flyer below and if you can add to the comments below if you intend to come to help with catering numbers that would be great.

One of the problems we have had is there is no definitive list of members and contact details, people move over the years and the rules regarding retaining information are such that contact details are sketchy. So if you know or come across someone you think should be there please let them know. Better to be told multiple times than not at all. We will also be adding to my Eastern Green in an effort to inform as many as possible.

Well Leamington Art in the Park Festival is over for another year . I would just like to thank all that supported our stall, both over the weekend and in setting up and taking down.

For the help and support of, my friend the wonderful artist Cathy Renken ,with who I have now shared the stall for eleven years.Cathy your thoughts in our re-modelling of our stall offer were inspirational.

For the support of our visitors and customers without which our efforts would come to nothing.

Last but not least, we all would like to thank the organisers and volunteers who make the largest free to enter Arts Festival in the midlands a reality. All the artists are undoubtedly so grateful to you for providing the opportunity for us to share our artwork with such a large audience.
